HOTEL SØMA, Nuuk is a 3-star hotel with conference facilities. The hotel has 46 rooms, conference rooms and a cosy cafeteria.
HOTEL SØMA, Nuuk has a beautiful view of the entire harbour area, with breathtaking views of the sea and the large mountains that surround Nuuk.
HOTEL SØMA runs the "Seamen's Home | Cafeteria & Social", which is the local diaconal and maritime welfare work. It employs 1-2 volunteers who, in collaboration with a seafarer missionary, are responsible for the welfare work.

Missional and diaconal activities
HOTEL SØMA wants to take social responsibility in the local environment. We do this by both
Support and organise local initiatives.
Every year we open our doors on Christmas Eve to families and individuals from the city who, for various reasons, do not celebrate Christmas Eve themselves. Between 30-50 people come to celebrate Christmas with fellowship, good food, singing and presents.
During the summer holidays, we're hosting the 'Fun at the Seamen's Home' event with weeks of fun, activities, stories, competitions and much more!
We often stop by the harbour and ships to hand out new newspapers, have a good chat and share a coffee. We also regularly visit the local prison, orphanages and nursing homes.
