That's why our work is important in the maritime world.

The challenges can be many for seafarers, fishermen and their families. Their needs range from the material to spiritual or well-being-related issues.

The encouraging thing is that we have seen how our efforts are making a difference. The Seamen's Mission has helped to create safety and better conditions where people have found hope, community and support.

Our work contributes to stronger communities where faith, support and dignity can flourish, and where people have the opportunity to break out of loneliness.

About our work

Cruise Crew Welfare

The Seafarers' Mission reaches out to the hundreds of cruise ships with thousands of employees on board that visit Danish ports, such as Aarhus. Some of these seafarers have long working days on board and work for several months far away from their families.

ABOUT US

The Seamen's Mission will bring the Gospel to seafarers and fishermen - including international seafarers and others naturally associated with the maritime environments in Denmark and Greenland.

VACANT POSITIONS

We are often looking for new colleagues. Take a look at the current vacancies here and send us an application so you can get on board the meaningful work.
